Our client, a well-recognized law firm, is currently seeking a notary with a minimum of five 5 years of experience to join its team.

Within a dynamic team composed of lawyers and paralegals, you will play a key role in carrying out large-scale real estate, commercial, and corporate financing transactions. The files regularly involve financial institutions, private lenders, other law firms, as well as cross-border clients.

Role

Working closely with the firm’s professionals, you will be involved in all stages of the transactional and financing process requiring your expertise:

• Due diligence
• Analysis of portfolios and deeds of sale
• Drafting and reviewing real estate transactional documents
• Title verification
• Title opinions
• Coordination of title insurance

Follow-up on financing aspects: conditions, securities, discharges, assignments, etc.

Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in real estate financing
• Having a client base (book of business) will be considered a strong asset
• Excellent research, analytical, and drafting skills
• Full bilingual proficiency in French and English (spoken and written)
