The Role

As a Civil and Commercial Litigation Partner, you will lead complex mandates and contribute actively to the strategic direction of the group. You will play a central role in the growth of the practice, both through managing significant files and driving business development initiatives.

The role offers a high level of autonomy, direct client exposure and the opportunity to leverage a national platform to grow both a practice and a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic civil and commercial litigation files
• Develop and implement litigation strategies aligned with client objectives
• Represent clients before courts and various tribunals
• Act as a strategic advisor to a corporate and institutional client base
• Supervise and mentor lawyers at different levels of experience
• Contribute to the management and growth of the litigation group
• Actively participate in business development and maintain a client portfolio
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the country
• Contribute to the firm’s visibility through professional initiatives

Requirements

• Member in good standing of the Québec Bar
• Recognized expertise in civil and commercial litigation
• Established client portfolio
• Experience managing complex and strategic matters
• Strong advocacy, strategic thinking and mandate management skills
• Leadership ability and experience mentoring teams
• Sound judgment, strong attention to detail and prioritization skills
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Bilingual (French/English)
