The Role

As a Civil and Commercial Litigation Partner, you will play a key role in the development and growth of the practice. You will work on complex matters involving contractors, project owners, developers, professionals, and insurers, while contributing to the strategic direction of the litigation group.

The role offers significant autonomy, direct visibility with firm leadership, and access to resources designed to accelerate the growth of your practice within a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead major civil and commercial litigation matters, including contractual disputes, delays, defects, claims, and professional liability matters.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies tailored to technical and multidisciplinary cases
• Appear before civil courts and specialized tribunals, including alternative dispute resolution processes
• Advise clients including contractors, developers, institutions, and key industry stakeholders
• Supervise and mentor team members involved in matters
• Actively participate in business development and practice visibility initiatives
• Contribute to the firm’s strategic growth and the expansion of its construction sector
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and industry partners

Profile

• Member in good standing of the Québec Bar
• Recognized expertise in construction litigation
• Established client portfolio
• Substantial experience managing complex and technical files
• Strong advocacy and negotiation skills
• Leadership abilities with the capacity to grow and develop a team
• Strategic mindset, sound judgment, and professional rigor
• Strong business development capabilities
• Bilingual (French/English)
