Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a senior lawyer with 8 or more years of experience in Banking Law to join its Montreal office.

You will be involved in sophisticated financing transactions, representing financial institutions, investment funds, private lenders, and major corporations, both in Canada and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Structure, negotiate, and execute complex financing transactions
• Advise lenders and borrowers on syndicated financings, acquisition financings, and structured financings
• Draft and negotiate credit agreements and transaction documents
• Collaborate with the Corporate and Tax teams
• Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to the growth of the practice

Requirements

• Member in good standing of the Quebec Bar
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Banking and Finance Law
• Strong experience with complex transactions
• Excellent negotiation and client relationship skills
• Bilingual (French and English)
