Our client, a prestigious international law firm known for its excellence in commercial litigation, is seeking a Partner to join its Construction Litigation team in Montreal.

You will play a pivotal role in the strategic management of large-scale construction dispute files, representing developers, contractors, subcontractors, professionals, or financial institutions in complex matters.

The incoming partner will have the opportunity to bring their team of associates, paralegals, and executive assistant.

What you’ll do:

• Advise clients on all aspects of construction-related disputes, including claims, delays, defects, non-compliance, tender processes, guarantees, and sureties
• Manage and plead cases before all levels of court: injunctions, arbitrations, technical commercial litigation, or urgent relief
• Support clients preventively from the early stages of the project (negotiation, contract interpretation, risk management)
• Work closely with engineering, architectural, and valuation experts
• Actively contribute to internal training, legal content development, and the visibility of the practice

Profile:

• Member of the Quebec Bar for 10+ years
• Recognized experience in construction litigation, including complex claims, ADR mechanisms, and injunctions
• Excellent command of applicable laws, strategic thinking, professional rigor, and autonomy
• Autonomous or semi-autonomous practice with an interest in growing within a leading firm in a collaborative and excellence-driven environment
